Spring/Summer Wardrobe Spruce-Up

All Black's Recycled Newspaper Flat

A cream open-weave top like this one.

Blue and white sailboat skirt similar to this guy from Anthropologie.

A vintage silk satin button down in cream like this one.

An a.n.a. western denim shirt (with pearl snaps!).

A navy single button blazer from Lafayette 148 in a shape similar to this one.

Ralph Lauren silver teardrop earrings
dv by Dolce Vita wedges ($15!!)

Add these great items to my wardrobe from last year...

Calvin Klein belt

Asos peach dress
Asos orange skirt

Lafayette 148 white blazer
...and I've got a pretty sturdy wardrobe.

Now, if I could just find a decent pair of leather-soled sandals...

  1. I love blazers, but I don't like how they give me shoulders twice as wide as mine already are.

Are those dv wedges at Target? I think I saw a pair there but I wasn't sure if that was it?

    1. You can try a blazer that's more shrunken (J. Crew has some nice ones for a decent price). If you find one you really love, you can take it to a tailor and they can put smaller pads in it. Or, you can try one with a peplum that will balance your bottom half out a bit more ( like this one: http://www.polyvore.com/nw3_bexley_peplum_jacket_black/thing?id=47351821).

    2. Also, the wedges are available at Endless. They do look very similar to this pair from Target http://www.target.com/p/Womens-Mossimo-Perri-Strappy-Espadrille-Wedge-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13889649#?lnk=sc_qi_detailbutton.

  3. A vintage store. I'm pretty sure it's from the 70's, but you can get a similar one here: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/trouve-long-sleeve-silk-shirt/3136187?origin=category&resultback=7308
